**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Client Account Manager to join our team at Acorn Water Ltd. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of wastewater treatment technologies and regulations, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site visits with customers to build relationships and discuss their needs.
  • Develop and write technical proposals to advise clients on suitable products and services.
  • Analyse client data to identify opportunities for process optimisation.
  • Prepare quotes for clients based on Acorn Water's product offerings.
  • Manage supplier relationships to source the best products and services for clients.
  • Ensure adequate stock levels are maintained across Acorn Water's product lines.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and identify new business opportunities.
  • Stay up-to-date with Acorn Water's latest products and technologies.
  • Maintain accurate records in our Salesforce customer database.
  • Represent Acorn Water at industry events and trade shows.
  • Create purchase orders for clients according to Acorn Water's processes.
  • Support sales teams with administrative tasks.
  • Coordinate import/export processes for Acorn Water.
  • Write tender documents for clients.
  • Arrange travel and accommodation for team members as needed.

Requirements:

  • A degree in a relevant field such as Industrial Chemistry, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or Microbiology.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the wastewater treatment industry.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong technical writing skills with attention to detail.
  • In-depth knowledge of wastewater treatment technologies and regulations.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • A full driving license and access to own car.
  • Proficiency in computer software and IT systems.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce database systems would be beneficial.
  • Proven organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent multitasking abilities with project planning and management skills.
