Research Opportunity in Advanced Materials Science

Job Description:
We are seeking a talented Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our team and contribute to the development of a next-generation hyperbranched poly (β-amino ester) (HPAE) transfection reagent.
The successful candidate will work in collaboration with our research team based in UCD Charles Institute of Dermatology and a biotech company to advance the manufacturing process, ensuring consistent polymer quality, reducing post-production waste, and improving nanoscale quality control.
This project has the potential to revolutionize the field of medicine by providing an efficient and large-scale production method for viral vectors.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be eligible for this position, candidates must have completed their PD1 stage and possess excellent research skills, experience in polymer synthesis, and knowledge of molecular biology.
A strong understanding of nanotechnology and materials science is also desirable.
