**Special Care Worker Role:**
We are recruiting Special Care Workers to join our team, working in special care units for children in care aged between 11 and 17 years old.
In this challenging yet rewarding role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized care plans, promoting the physical, emotional, social, and educational wellbeing of each young person.
**Responsibilities Include:**
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans.
- Promoting the physical, emotional, social, and educational wellbeing of each young person.
**Requirements:** To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a minimum QQI Level 7 in Social Care or a related qualification. Alternatively, you may hold one of the following qualifications along with 18 months practice within the last five years:
- Youth and Community Work Qualification.
- BA (Hons) Youth and Community Development.
- BA (Hons) Psychology.
- Addiction Studies (Level 7).
- BA (Hons) Counselling and Addiction Studies.
- Disability Diploma (Primary Care).
- Degree in Social Science (minimum Level 7).
- Social Care Qualification (Level 6).
