Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and driven Semi-Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of fundamental accounting and tax principles, with the ability to work closely with senior colleagues to strategize and execute both audit and non-audit projects.

Responsibilities:

* Work collaboratively with seniors, managers, and partners to develop and implement project strategies.
* Manage a diverse client portfolio, preparing annual accounts and completing audit and non-audit documentation for small, micro, and dormant companies.
* Prepare personal and corporate tax computations and file returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
* Assign tasks and support in the training of junior team members, nurturing and sustaining strong client relationships.
* Conduct research and address technical inquiries from clients, engaging in special projects as required.

Requirements:

* Currently pursuing a professional qualification such as ACA/ACCA or equivalent experience.
* Minimum of 2 years' experience managing a client portfolio within a small to medium-sized practice, with the ability to bring accounts to the trial balance stage.
* Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
* Thorough understanding of accounting and tax principles, with proficiency in utilizing Sage Accounts Production, Relate Accounts Production, Surf Accounts Production, and ROS.
