Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to join our team at Fota Island Resort. As a key member of our Food and Beverage department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operation of our restaurant, bar, and event spaces.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the management of food and beverage outlets, ensuring seamless service delivery and exceptional guest experiences.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and other departments to coordinate events, buffets, and room set-ups.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and product quality across all Food and Beverage areas.
- Develop and implement innovative ideas to enhance service, products, and revenue growth.
- Conduct weekly briefings with Food and Beverage Supervisors to discuss upcoming events and review past performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role in a 4 or 5-star background.
- Excellent knowledge of Food and Beverage, including wine.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Extensive experience in F&B staff training, grooming, and service etiquette.
- Impeccable leadership and delegation skills.
- Event and wedding management expertise.
