This role focuses on utilizing military experience to drive innovation in the private sector. As an RME Technician, you will play a crucial part in maintaining equipment reliability and quality.

The Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team is fundamental to our operations – they're the ones keeping vital machinery running at all times. Your proactive and preventative maintenance tasks will ensure site equipment operates safely and efficiently.

You will work closely with your colleagues to maintain a wide range of equipment and uphold Health and Safety best practices. This includes performing planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Maintaining a high level of equipment availability and quality
  2. Performing routine maintenance and repairs to prevent downtime
  3. Collaborating with senior colleagues to achieve technical goals

A day in the life of an RME Technician involves carrying out planned preventative maintenance, responding promptly to breakdowns, and suggesting long-term improvements. You will work on a range of shifts to ensure our sites are supported around the clock.

Our Reliability Maintenance Engineering team keeps our equipment performing at its best. We're a technically-minded team made up of excellent team players guided by experienced leaders. We work together to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment across our global network of fulfilment centres.

As an RME Technician, you will be working alongside senior colleagues to undertake day-to-day maintenance tasks and liaise with contractors if needed. You will have opportunities for progression within the RME team and more widely across our organization.
