Graduate Geotechnical Specialist

A globally-oriented, forward-thinking organization seeks a motivated Geotechnical Specialist to join its dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with geotechnical assessments, reporting, and project design while gaining exposure to industry best practices and standards.
  • Work within project teams to deliver high-quality services to clients.
  • Participate in site inspections to verify that designs are properly executed in the field.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 2:1 Bachelor's degree or Master's in Applied or Engineering Geology.
  • Basic understanding of engineering geology and geotechnical concepts, with knowledge of geotechnical software preferred.
  • Familiarity with field techniques like rock mapping, stereonets, slope stability, kinematic analysis, and basic risk assessment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to build effective relationships with clients, colleagues, and agencies.
  • Knowledge of Codes of Practice, Design Standards, and Health and Safety Regulations.
