Job Title: Nursing Support Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and efficient individual to provide administrative support to the Director of Nursing. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to multitask with ease, and have a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process senior staff nurse applications and enhanced nurse applications.
  • Manage maternity leave and parental leave applications.
  • Verify employment and service forms.
  • Manage flexi records for other staff members.
  • Book rooms and teleconferences.
  • Extend contracts for temporary staff during periods of leave.
  • Correspond with staff regarding visa applications.
  • Prepare staff personnel files for effective office operation.
  • Schedule departmental meetings and take minutes.
  • Manage appointments for the Director of Nursing.
  • Maintain databases and prepare reports.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
