Payroll and Finance Expert

We are seeking an experienced Payroll and Finance expert to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in payroll administration, tax regulations, and pension management.

About the Role

The role will involve managing monthly payroll instructions, ensuring accuracy and reconciliations for external payroll bureaus. You will also oversee completeness, accuracy, and reconciliations for overseas payroll reports, administer UK and EU pension schemes, and prepare payroll and pension reports for auditors.

You will work closely with project leads to confirm job closures, ensuring budgets, billing, and supplier invoices are accurate. Additionally, you will complete statutory surveys, assist the Financial Controller with ad hoc tasks, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years experience in UK payroll, tax regulations, and pension administration
  • Ideal qualifications include ATI/ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent by experience
  • Strong knowledge of statutory deductions (income tax, NI contributions)
  • Experience handling sensitive data with confidentiality and GDPR compliance
  • Excellent Excel skills and strong attention to detail
