Job Title: Quality Laboratory Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Laboratory Support Specialist to join our team on an initial 12-month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring laboratory documentation and computerized systems compliance with data integrity policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Ensure Laboratory Documentation and Computerized Systems compliance with Data Integrity policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Understand Regulations and business processes required to maintain Laboratory Data Integrity.
  • Coach and guide analysts working in the assigned team to ensure they are performing to the best of their ability.
  • Improve overall efficiency and velocity within the assigned team.
  • Ensure agreed compliance timelines are adhered to and identify recovery paths when required.
  • Identify weaknesses in laboratory performance and work with the laboratory manager to rectify them.
  • Resolving analytical OOS issues and/or deviations as they arise in a timely manner.
  • Act as designee for the Laboratory Manager as assigned.
  • Maintain 6S excellence across the Laboratory.
  • Execute and/or support projects as assigned by the laboratory manager.
  • Develop and change in-house laboratory procedures as appropriate.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 3rd level qualification in a relevant Science discipline.
  • Minimum 4 years analytical experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven track record in an analytical role with expertise in HPLC, GC, LCMS, GCMS, Automatic titration, Identification techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements.
  • Proficient in using analytical equipment in the QC lab.
  • Involvement in product transfers/method transfer experience preferred.
