Job Overview:

TN Ireland is seeking a highly skilled Sourcing Specialist to join our procurement team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive sourcing strategy that drives cost savings and efficiency improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Strategic Sourcing: Conduct thorough industry analysis to provide proactive insights into sourcing strategy, enabling data-driven decision-making.
  2. Negotiation and Relationship Building: Develop and maintain long-term relationships with strategic suppliers through effective negotiation and communication.
  3. Contract Management: Oversee the establishment and maintenance of a master contract management system for all spends within scope, ensuring compliance and optimal value extraction.
  4. 'Make vs. Buy' Analysis: Lead and drive analysis to optimize costs and efficiencies by evaluating the viability of producing goods or services internally versus purchasing from external suppliers.
  5. Creative Value Optimization: Identify innovative cost-saving ideas that drive value optimization initiatives, resulting in improved bottom-line performance.
  6. Project Planning: Create and update project progress plans to reflect necessary activities, savings, costs, and timing, ensuring projects are executed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
  1. Education: Bachelor's Degree required; Master's preferred.
  2. Procurement Experience: 3-5 years of procurement experience within an FMCG organisation.
  3. Communication Skills: Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders in various settings.
  4. Supplier Development: Experience in supplier identification, development, and qualification.
  5. Decision-Making: Ability to make quick decisions and capitalise on opportunities as they arise.
  6. Results-Oriented: Sense of urgency to drive results and achieve objectives.
  7. Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office software; experience with SAP preferred.
