Job Title: Network Engineering Director

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineering Director to lead our distributed networking applications team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in software development and technical leadership, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

About the Role
  • The Network Engineering Director will be responsible for developing and deploying distributed networking applications, supporting both end-to-end applications as well as a rich developer ecosystem enabling other teams to exploit dSDN technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy distributed networking applications.
  2. Design and implement scalable and efficient network architectures.
  3. Mentor and guide junior engineers to improve their skills and knowledge.
  4. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science or related field.
  • 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
  • 3 years of technical leadership and people management experience.
  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science preferred.
