Key Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an Operations Quality Engineer Shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing quality standards, applying measures, and providing quality expertise to support the manufacture and delivery of compliant products on time, in full, and cost-effectively.

  • Analyse quality standards for components, materials or services.
  • Apply measures, sampling methods, testing methodology, and other procedures to ensure quality standards are met.

This is a shift-based role on a 4-cycle shift. Key responsibilities include:

  • Applying quality principles, analysing quality records, preparing reports, and recommending improvements.
  • Conducting inspection, verification, and validation of components or materials used in development processes.
  • Identifying and addressing recurring problems with the quality of the product or the reliability of testing procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum NFQ Level 7 qualification in Engineering or Manufacturing, 3 years' experience in a Manufacturing/Science or Engineering environment, GMP/GDP experience, ISO 13485 experience, and a Yellow belt qualification is desired.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum NFQ Level 7 qualification in Engineering or Manufacturing.
  • 3 years' experience in a Manufacturing/Science or Engineering environment.
  • GMP/GDP experience.
  • ISO 13485 experience.
  • A Yellow belt qualification.
