About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Instrumentation Expert to join our Quality Control team.

This is a 12-month contract position in the Instrumentation group of our QC Department.

The successful candidate will have strong expertise in laboratory instrumentation, including equipment validation, change control procedures and regulatory agency audits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with suppliers to coordinate calibration schedules and managing changes to instruments.
  • Reviewing laboratory calibration/qualification documentation and troubleshooting laboratory equipment.
  • Managing the purchase of new instruments and ensuring equipment procedures are up to date.
  • Conducting all instrumentation calibration investigations and supporting the implementation and qualification of analytical instruments.
  • Ensuring GMP Compliance of laboratory operations and documentation.

Requirements:

  • A BSc in Analytical Science, Chemistry or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience working in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Knowledge of Quality Control operations and regulatory agency audits.
  • Experience in Equipment Validation and change control procedures.
  • Strong ability to manage their own workload and prioritize tasks.
