As a Senior Scala Developer, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with Business Analysts to define solutions that meet technical requirements.
  • Contribute to the development of a regulatory reporting application, working on end-to-end platform components.
  • Handling large data aggregations, ensuring seamless functionality.
  • Collaborating with Technology support teams to uphold best practices and high-quality standards.
  • Continuously evaluating and adopting new techniques to improve the platform.
  • Support agile planning sessions, prioritizing features for timely delivery.
  • Offer day-to-day platform support, assisting with troubleshooting and resolving production issues.

Your Background

  • Minimum 3 years with Scala.
  • At least 3 years in software development.
  • Proven experience in implementing RESTful APIs and Microservices.
  • Skilled with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Agile team experience (Scrum or Kanban).
  • Exposure to large, fast-paced project environments.
