Job Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned retail professional to fill the role of Assistant Store Manager in Cork. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and supporting the Store Manager in leading the team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Motivate and coach the store team to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction and sales performance.
  • Act as second-in-command and fill in for the Store Manager when required.
  • Support recruitment, hiring, and retention of a diverse and skilled store team.
  • Model a culture of trust and provide constructive feedback to help team members grow professionally.
  • Assist with day-to-day business operations and ensure efficient stock control, inventory management, and operational excellence in a fast-paced outlet.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain high store standards.

Key Qualifications and Skills

  • Prior relevant experience at Assistant Store Manager level or equivalent within retail or hospitality.
  • Strong people management skills (communication, motivation, coaching, connection, and inspiration).
  • Experience in sharing knowledge to drive behavioral change and develop others.
  • Effective decision making and problem-solving skills.
