SharePoint Developer Position

We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Developer to join our organization. The ideal candidate will have advanced experience working on developing solutions using the Power Platform and a deep understanding of SharePoint Online architecture.

  • Plan development and migration from start to completion, with a focus on efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Business Analyst to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the requirements and documentation.
  • Develop new sites from requirements that have been captured by the project's Business Analyst and approved by the stakeholders.
  • Design an effective solution that meets requirements and stakeholders' expectations in areas such as UX (user experience), performance, etc.
  • Provide expert knowledge to the team on existing SharePoint Migration SMEs and Developers.
  • Identify opportunities for improvements and/or automation in the end-to-end SharePoint Migration process.
  • Unit test and support User Acceptance testing.
  • Document site development & creation to allow IT Operations to take over supporting of site.
  • Communicate clearly with Project and Programme Manager on status and challenges with site migrations.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of advanced experience developing in Power Platform; be able to demonstrate experience.
  • Proven experience with tools like Sharegate or AvePoint for migration.
  • Deep understanding of SharePoint Online architecture, including modern sites, hubs, communication and team sites, and subsites.
  • Experience in adopting modern SharePoint solutions and transferring classic SharePoint approaches and technologies.
  • Ability to use scripting (e.g., PowerShell) for administrative tasks and automation.

Desirable Skills:

  • Microsoft Power Platform / SharePoint certification
  • Ability to present technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
