Job Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Social Worker to provide expert support for the local community. This role involves conducting thorough social assessments and interventions, as well as managing a caseload.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial and holistic social assessments and interventions for individuals, families, and groups.
  • Develop referral procedures with other social work services.
  • Identify service users' individual and collective needs in partnership with them.
  • Create early interventions and/or social action strategies to meet those needs.
  • Foster a culture that values diversity and respect within the workplace.
  • Maintain close communication with the Team Leader on all significant matters.

Requirements:

  • Be registered with the Social Workers Register maintained by CORU.
  • Maintain live annual registration on the Social Workers Register.
  • Hold the necessary knowledge and ability to discharge the duties of this role effectively.
