Do you have a passion for delivering sustainable solutions to complex hydraulic challenges?

We are seeking a Senior / Principal Hydraulic Engineer to join our team, working across water, wastewater, energy & infrastructure portfolios. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a supportive group, working on major capital investment programmes, and providing expert technical input for projects involving hydraulic structures and systems.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant subject (or equivalent) and significant experience in the UK water industry. You will also possess demonstrable knowledge/experience in hydraulic engineering/fluid mechanics, including expertise in software such as Hades, Varism or Flow 3D. Additionally, you will have experience reviewing technical content and mentoring junior staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead technical input for projects involving hydraulic structures and systems, including studies, analyses, designs, reports, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Contribute to steady-state, rapid, and long-term transient hydraulic studies.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
  • Maintain technical expertise through ongoing professional development.
