About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic organization as a Renewable Energy Project Lead. We are looking for a highly experienced professional to lead planning applications for large-scale renewable energy projects.

The successful applicant will have expertise in consenting processes, relevant legislation, and industry standards, and will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of the planning process, including assessments, layout design, and Environmental Impact Assessment Report (EIAR) development.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in a Senior Project Manager role managing renewable energy projects
  • Expertise in planning, environmental assessment, and consenting processes within the renewable energy sector
  • High competence in programme management, contract management, negotiation, budgeting, and resource forecasting
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with Joint Venture partnerships is an advantage

Responsibilities:

  • Lead planning applications for large-scale renewable energy projects
  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of the planning process
  • Monitor changes in legislation, policies, and planning outcomes
  • Oversee Joint Venture partnerships
  • Develop and implement project strategies
  • Lead stakeholder engagement
  • Conduct due diligence on third-party investment opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations
  • Lead, develop, and manage a team of technical professionals
