About This Role

As a skilled nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to children with complex needs in the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centred nursing care that prioritises the child's comfort, safety and well-being.
  • Support children with complex care needs in the community, working closely with families as key partners in care.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team under the supervision of a senior nurse leader.
  • Maintain current registration with the NMBI, demonstrating strong communication skills and ideally bringing experience of working with children/young people.
  • Embed kindness, compassion and respect into all interactions, recognising and safeguarding each child as an individual.

Requirements

  • NMBI-registered nurse with a live register status
  • Residence in the Republic of Ireland is essential for this role
  • 2 years' experience of paediatric nursing would be desirable
  • Training in resuscitation, patient moving and manual handling, medication management and other relevant areas
  • Able to drive a full Irish/EU licence would be advantageous
