Quantum Product Development Manager

We are seeking a skilled technical product manager to lead the development of software tools for quantum computing. This role involves developing and executing product strategies, working closely with science, engineering, design, commercial operations, and marketing teams to ensure successful integration of our products with partners and users.

The successful candidate will join a fast-growing team responsible for building compiler toolchains and cloud infrastructure. As a key member of our team, you will help shape the future direction of our company and its products.

  • Develop and manage product strategies, roadmaps, and go-to-market plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Lead the development of our compiler toolchain, cloud infrastructure, and operating system line of products.
  • Break down complex problems into manageable steps for product development and ensure timely delivery.
  • Interface with customers, users, and partners to identify pain points and opportunities for new product features and refinements.
  • Uncover customer needs and translate them into product requirements and user stories.
  • Identify and prioritize product features based on user feedback and market trends.
  • Manage the full product life cycle, driving action throughout the team to bring products to market.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to develop product marketing strategies.
Requirements
  • A PhD degree in Physics, Computer Science, or a related engineering field.
  • Experience leading scientific or technical discussions and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Proven track record of delivering product and engineering results of varying complexity and scale.
  • Familiarity with quantum computing or related technical fields.
  • Excellent communication, listening, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • High ownership and responsibility.
  • Continuous learning mindset.
