Job Description

As a senior project manager, you will play a key role in the delivery of rail projects across the UK.

Our team is responsible for managing the delivery of feasibility studies, design, and related professional services to transport authorities, design and build contractors, and rolling stock manufacturers.

You will operate within a multidisciplinary team of 40 project management professionals, managing the delivery of projects by our technical teams.

Infrastructure projects will range from small renewals to large schemes involving stations, bridges, access-for-all upgrades, track, signalling, telecoms, electrification, and plant.

Rolling stock projects will typically involve new fleet procurement or life-extension.

We are looking for senior project managers with a strong understanding of project delivery in a D&B environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Existing experience in project management: We are seeking individuals with proven experience in project management, including the use of project controls (e.g. earned value analysis).
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills: You should have strong analytical and numerical skills, including the use of Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills: You must be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, colleagues, and suppliers.
