Job Title: Operational Excellence Manager">

The Operational Excellence Manager will oversee the overall management of their area and across all shifts in relation to manufacturing, filling and projects. They will be part of the management team on the site ensuring smooth, efficient and compliant operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage department supervisors and support staff to deliver best-in-class safety, quality and production results.
  2. Lead and motivate direct reports to embed a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing throughout the organisation.
  3. Interface with other manufacturing operations management staff/customers to ensure quality commitments are met.
  4. Ensure products are provided to customers on time so that product quality, yield, operating costs and process efficiencies are met.
  5. Ensure that products are produced and stored according to appropriate documentation in order to obtain required quality.
  6. Approve instructions relating to production operations and ensure strict implementation.
  7. Ensure that production records are evaluated and signed by an authorised person before they are sent to the Quality Assurance Department.
  8. Check maintenance of his department, premises and equipment.
  9. Ensure that appropriate validations are done.
  10. Manage area of responsibility to ensure that GMP and GPD requirements are met and adhered to.
  11. Adhere to all environmental, health and safety SOPs, equipment, policies and procedures, including any department specific requirements.
  12. Manage inter-department & inter-functional relationships and optimise resources.
  13. Develop and implement a manufacturing strategy to align with the plant strategic plan.
  14. Seek to continuously reduce manufacturing costs through efficiency measures.
  15. Actively lead the Baxter Operating System progression with the areas of responsibility.
  16. Provide feedback, learning and development plans for team members.
  17. Ensure that required initial and continuing training of his department personnel is carried out and adapted according to need.
  18. Prioritise team resource to meet Company and department targets.
