Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Environment professional to join our team as an HSEQ Advisor.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health and safety management, with the ability to provide expert advice and guidance to our employees.

The role will involve providing support to managers and teams on health and safety matters, including risk assessments, audits and incident investigations.

Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing localised initiatives to drive HSEQ standards across our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on health and safety matters to managers and teams
  • Support the development and implementation of localised initiatives to drive HSEQ standards
  • Conduct risk assessments, audits and incident investigations
  • Develop and implement effective measures to mitigate risks and prevent incidents
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination on health and safety matters
Requirements:
  • Minimum of NEBOSH General Certificate qualification or equivalent
  • Proven experience in health and safety management, preferably in a similar industry
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high degree of flexibility and adaptability
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
