About the Role
  • You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class solutions that meet the evolving needs of clients.
  • Providing strategic technical leadership to ensure the platform meets both business and technical requirements.
  • Defining the overall technical vision of solutions and collaborating with other architects to bring designs to life.
  • Promoting the IT vision within the organization and ensuring governance processes are adhered to.
  • Taking a senior role in the team, guiding and mentoring members.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
  • 12+ years of experience in software development, including 7+ years designing software solutions.
  • Proficiency in RESTful APIs, modern cloud architecture, and hands-on experience with specific technologies such as API gateways, Java, C#, microservices, data stores/data bases, and at least one cloud provider.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence decision-makers.
  • Experience working collaboratively with technical and non-technical colleagues to bring projects to completion.
  • Able to go beyond requirements to understand business needs and provide solutions.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience with Apigee, Java, C#, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, Databases, Docker/Kubernetes, and Atlassian tools.
  • Knowledge of modern development best practices, including CI/CD, microservices, and REST APIs.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment with multiple development teams.
  • Experience and knowledge of the payments/merchant-acquiring industry.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, decision-making, and relationship-building skills.
