Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Breffni Insulations Limited. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for supporting project managers and quantity surveying managers in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Your primary focus will be on cost control, procurement, and contract management. You will work closely with senior surveyors to prepare and submit valuations, manage payments, and support variation management. Additionally, you will assist in identifying project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to provide necessary cost reports and updates. You will also work alongside our senior surveyor, learning through active participation and contributing to a collaborative project team.
To be successful in this position, you should have a strong analytical mind, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite. A Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related field is preferred.
- Candidates must have familiarity with procurement processes, contract administration, and Irish construction regulations.
- A strong analytical mindset is essential for this role.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills are required.
