Job Opportunity

Sabeo seeks a Cloud Architect and Technical Leader to spearhead the development of a cutting-edge technology framework, providing strategic guidance on cloud computing and automation initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software development team leadership, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality Java web services and Spring components. Strong technical skills in containerization, microservices architecture, and DevOps/Agile practices are essential.

This role involves designing and implementing scalable solutions according to defined patterns and best practices. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the migration of existing applications to a microservices-based architecture
  • Hands-on development activities, including porting applications to cloud-native platforms
  • Mentoring team members and providing direction and leadership to cross-functional teams
  • Contributing to the strategic direction for the use of concepts, technologies, languages, patterns, APIs, and frameworks

Key Requirements:

  • At least 7 years of experience in leading complex software systems development
  • Proficiency in Java Full Stack Technologies, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot
  • Strong knowledge of unit testing, integration testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Experience with containerization, Kubernetes, Docker, and similar tools
  • Good understanding of System Architectures, Software Engineering, and DevOps/Agile practices

Necessary Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Third-level qualification (honours degree), preferably in a related discipline

Technical Competencies:

  • Experience in cloud-native application development
  • Knowledge of programming languages, such as Java 8, MS SQL, C#, Powershell, and Bash
  • Understanding of testing frameworks, tooling, and BDD principles
