Key Responsibilities

  • Review and assess electrical designs, drawings, and documentation to guarantee compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement solutions to resolve technical issues, collaborating closely with subcontractors and site teams to achieve project goals.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to subcontractors and site teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and open communication.
  • Manage task prioritization, subcontractor performance, and project timelines, ensuring that projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, enforcing safety standards and implementing process improvements to enhance overall project quality.
  • Prepare test packs, coordinate handovers, and maintain accurate technical records, providing valuable insights for future projects.

Requirements

  • Relevant electrical qualification (Bachelor's degree in engineering) is essential for this role.
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar position within a mechanical and electrical contracting environment is necessary for success in this field.
  • A strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements on large-scale projects is crucial.
  • While not mandatory, data centre experience can be advantageous in this role.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills are required to excel in this position.
  • Competency in MS Office and document control software is also necessary.
