Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced solicitor to join our Healthcare Litigation & Regulation team as an Urgent Healthcare Solicitor in Dublin. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and commercially astute individual to handle a balanced mix of contentious and advisory work.

The successful candidate will have 2-4 years' PQE, a strong litigation background, excellent analytical, drafting, and client-communication skills, and an interest in healthcare regulation and exposure to clinical governance or data protection advisory work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Defend medical malpractice claims and provide guidance on healthcare regulation and compliance matters.
  • Represent clients in professional misconduct hearings, inquests, tribunals, and judicial review proceedings.
  • Provide clear and pragmatic advice on healthcare regulatory issues, including record-keeping, ethical policies, FOI, and data protection.
  • Draft pleadings, manage expert evidence, attend court, and collaborate with the senior team on strategy and mediation.

Requirements:

  • Strong litigation background with 2-4 years' PQE
  • Excellent analytical, drafting, and client-communication skills
  • Interest in healthcare regulation and exposure to clinical governance or data protection advisory work
