Business Development Trainee

We are seeking a motivated Business Development Trainee to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or experienced professional to develop business skills, gain industry knowledge, and progress on their career path.

As a Business Development Trainee, you will be part of a dynamic and innovative organisation that is shaping the future of mobility. You will learn essential business skills, including management, finance, operations, sales, and customer service, and have the opportunity to progress to leadership roles within our Rental Operations managerial track or explore other exciting options.

You will be empowered to make business decisions that impact your career and the bottom line, developing new business and maintaining current relationships. You will gain a deep understanding of cost control, profit and loss statements, and how to deliver exceptional customer service.

Throughout your development, you will learn how to effectively communicate, influence, and interact with customers, vendors, and colleagues, as well as develop proper sales techniques, problem-solving strategies, and conflict management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing new business and maintaining current relationships
  • Understanding cost control and reading P&L statements
  • Delivering exceptional customer service
  • Effective communication, influencing, and interacting with customers, vendors, and colleagues
  • Developing proper sales techniques, problem-solving strategies, and conflict management

To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent professional experience), a Full Irish, UK or EU Manual Drivers License, and no drug or alcohol-related offence on driving record within the last five years.
