Job Overview

The Training Program Manager plays a pivotal role in developing and implementing training initiatives that align with business objectives, meet regulatory requirements, and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage existing and new training programs, including FlexiQ and colleague training within CLS laboratories.
  • Develop customized training solutions for clients at both the CLS site and client sites.
  • Lead a team of trainers, collaborate with subject matter experts, and work with internal departments to ensure training initiatives meet business goals, comply with regulations, and promote ongoing professional development.

About the Role:

This position requires a seasoned laboratory manager or supervisor with extensive people management experience and exposure to lab-based or related training. Commercial awareness, project management skills, and an organized approach are essential.


Requirements:
  • Proven track record as a Laboratory Manager / Supervisor with strong people management experience and exposure to lab-based or related training.
  • Commercial awareness and ability to engage with clients in a commercial support capacity.
  • Ability to manage project delivery.
  • Organized, efficient, and detail-oriented approach.
  • Initiative and desire for continuous improvement.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Science (Analytical Chemistry preferred or experience working in an Analytical Chemistry laboratory).
  • Strong understanding of lab procedures, equipment, and industry regulations, including ISO, OSHA, and FDA standards.
  • Experience in providing training in a laboratory environment, including methods of delivery and required documentation.
