Production Supervisor Opportunity

This role is responsible for the efficient operation of a production team.

  • Safety and Quality: Maintaining compliance with quality and health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Critical Thinking: Adhering to production schedules, anticipating and resolving problems as they arise.
  • Drive and Planning: Meeting and exceeding production targets by organizing timely material delivery and cross-training for operational effectiveness.
  • People Management: Motivating, engaging and communicating with operators, monitoring time and attendance for payroll, holidays and acceptable levels, maintaining discipline in safety and quality.
  • Communication: Effectively communicating with other departments to ensure issues are addressed promptly and targets can be achieved.

Key Requirements Include:

  • Education to Certificate or Diploma level
  • Further training and development advantageous especially with regards manufacturing excellence, lean activities, people management etc.
  • Reasonable IT skills – Microsoft packages and ERP
  • At least 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Track record in achieving targets
  • Natural communicator and influencer
  • Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing issues
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Keen understanding of the importance of safety, quality, and on-time delivery
  • Forward thinking
  • Solution focused
  • Drive to achieve and resilience to overcome issues
