Private Equity Fund Accounting Team Lead
A fantastic opportunity to step into a leadership role overseeing a dedicated team, managing client deliverables, and driving process improvements in a dynamic environment. As a seasoned accounting professional with 5+ years of experience, you will be responsible for leading and supporting a growing Private Equity Fund Accounting team, ensuring timely delivery of accurate NAVs, valuations, and regulatory reporting.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and support the Private Equity Fund Accounting team, managing workloads and reviewing outputs to ensure high-quality results.
- Collaborate with clients, investors, and auditors to deliver exceptional service and meet their needs.
- Mentor and develop team members to reach their full potential and contribute to the team's growth and success.
- Contribute to strategic projects aimed at system automation, process enhancements, and improving overall efficiency.
- Foster a collaborative team culture that emphasizes open communication, transparency, and a commitment to excellence.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or ACA).
- Technical knowledge of Irish/UK GAAP, US GAAP, IFRS, and related regulations.
- Experience in fund accounting and private equity, with a strong understanding of industry-specific requirements.
- Proven leadership and mentorship skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with system improvement projects are highly desirable.
