Senior Cloud Architect Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Architect to lead our IT system architecture, design solutions, and manage vendors, software contracts, and projects focused on cloud infrastructure and IP protection.

  • Architect robust cloud solutions that are scalable and meet the needs of solution development while ensuring solutions architecture adheres to regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate new IT technologies and build effective solutions for product development.
  • Architect end-to-end solutions using cloud services and microservices (e.g., IoT and Container Services) and partner with key stakeholders (e.g., Business Units) to evaluate business needs.
  • Develop configuration management and application deployment using tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • 10+ years of related experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • Certifications in cloud disciplines
  • Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment

Additionally, we look for experience with:

  • Cloud Infrastructure and Software solutions
  • AWS S3, Redshift, Azure DW, Azure Blob Storage
  • Azure account setup, governance, and architecture best practices
  • System engineering for hardware and software systems
  • Programming skills in Java, Python, or similar
