Incident Response Professional

Amazon is seeking an experienced Incident Response Professional to join our Information Security team. In this role, you will be responsible for responding to security incidents, conducting root cause analysis, and developing strategies to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the prompt and effective resolution of security incidents.

Responsibilities
- Responding to security incidents and conducting root cause analysis
- Developing strategies to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the prompt and effective resolution of security incidents
- Staying up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent professional experience
- 1-3 years of demonstrated experience in areas such as incident response, systems security, network security, and/or application security
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging to executive, technical, and non-technical audiences
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Go, PowerShell, Shell scripting, Perl, Ruby, Java, C++, C)

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems
- Knowledge of threat intelligence and analytics
- Familiarity with cloud security platforms and tools
