We are seeking a highly skilled professional to build and maintain a distributed compute system.

You will be part of a team that designs, builds, and operates services used by developers across the organization.

As a key member of our team, you'll tackle scale, distributed systems challenges, and customer-facing operations while working with cutting-edge AWS serverless technology.

Responsibilities include writing code that is testable, readable, and maintainable, performing code reviews, engaging in technical and architectural discussions, and troubleshooting issues using distributed logging and tracing.

Additionally, you will support internal development teams by answering questions and creating sample code, participate in on-call rotations to support production systems, and proactively automate processes and improve code quality.

The ideal candidate will have 4 years of hands-on software development experience in a language like Go or Python, experience leveraging public cloud infrastructure components, understanding of DevOps best practices, good self-management skills, and experience working with containers.

Experience building apps on AWS using services such as ECS/EKS, Step Functions, Lambda, and good understanding of networking and security concepts are also required.
