Cloud Architect Position

At Amazon Web Services, we are seeking a Senior Cloud Architect to join our team of experts in cloud computing. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and have a passion for designing cloud architectures that meet the needs of Enterprise-scale organizations.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with AWS services, as well as a strong understanding of business acumen and technical guidance. They will partner with customers to design cloud architectures that help them rapidly release products or services to the market, build elastic and scalable applications, and optimize costs.

We are looking for someone who can engage with customers at all levels of seniority, from C-suite executives to Enterprise architects. The successful candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as experience developing technology solutions and evangelizing end-to-end technology roadmaps guiding IT transformations toward cloud computing.

This role requires adaptability with new technologies, strong communication and presentation skills across technical and executive audiences, and a proven track record architecting and operating cloud solutions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design cloud architectures utilizing AWS services to meet the needs of Enterprise-scale organizations
  • Partner with customers to understand their business challenges and provide technical guidance
  • Engage with AWS product owners to influence product direction and help customers develop their new markets
  • Define patterns and trends that can be applied across broad industries and segments to help other customers accelerate their innovation

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • AWS certification
  • Experience working with Digital Native/Cloud First organizations
  • Proven track record architecting and operating cloud solutions
  • Adaptability with new technologies
  • Strong communication and presentation skills across technical and executive audiences
