At our expanding M&E business, we are looking to recruit talented individuals at all levels to join our engineering teams. We specialize in the design, installation, and inspection of mechanical and electrical engineering solutions for a diverse range of sectors.

This is a hybrid role with flexible working arrangements available across Dublin, Galway, Cork, Sligo, and Kilkenny. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be part of an integrated engineering design team working on multi-disciplinary projects. You will lead or contribute to technical solutions, working closely with clients and project engineers to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and specification of electrical engineering solutions to current regulations and design standards
  • Carrying out electrical building services design for smaller projects or as part of a larger electrical team on more complex projects
  • Leading pre-construction engineering activities, including the production of information such as design development, construction details, services coordination, and technical submittals
  • Providing off-site technical support to construction teams on projects

Requirements:

  • Minimum Level 8 qualifications in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Strong technical ability in all aspects of electrical engineering services & design
  • 3/10+ years relevant experience, ideally in a design consultancy environment
  • Knowledge & experience of current electrical design standards
  • Experience in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office Suite software, and specialist electrical design software packages
  • A good communicator with the ability to work well with others in a multifunctional project team
  • Excellent level of attention to detail
