Senior Electrical Building Services Professional

The successful candidate will oversee the delivery of electrical projects across diverse sectors, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. As a seasoned engineer, you will assess project requirements, perform detailed electrical designs, and agree on specifications with clients and managers.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead multi-disciplinary projects and coordinate with associated engineering disciplines.
- Develop and implement design and calculation work using industry-standard software such as Amtech, IES, Relux, and Revit.
- Establish and monitor schedules for timely deliverables and accurate reporting.
- Mentor junior team members and demonstrate technical expertise.
Essential experience in electrical building services design is required, covering areas including healthcare, education, industrial/pharma, water/wastewater, food processing, transportation, and data centres.
Technical Expertise:- Lighting and Emergency Lighting; familiar with Trimble (Amtech), Relux, Dialux.
- External Lighting (roads/highways).
- General Power and Services, including Fire Detection and Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, Power and Data.
- MV switchgear and transformers.
- LV Distribution and MCCs with wiring schematics, SLDs.
- Transformers 20kV/10kV to 400V.
- 3-phase and single-phase systems.
- BMS and SCADA.
- Instrumentation, Control, and Automation.
- BIM, AutoCAD, and Revit.
The ideal candidate holds a B.Eng/M.Eng degree, Chartered Engineer status, experience leading electrical services, and mentoring graduate engineers.
