Job Title: Childcare Nurse - Respite Services

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Childcare Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children with intellectual disabilities in our respite services. Your duties will include:

• Assessing and meeting the individual needs of each child
• Providing therapeutic interventions and practical support as required
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns or issues

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

• RGN/RNMH/RNID qualifications or equivalent nursing experience
• Strong interest and/or experience working with children with intellectual disabilities and their families
• Excellent communication, teamwork, interpersonal, organisational, and initiative skills
• Good understanding of person-centred planning, safeguarding, risk management, positive behaviour support, and children's rights
