Duty Manager Job Description

We are seeking an accomplished Duty Manager to deliver exceptional guest experiences and support hotel operations at our prestigious property in Galway. As Duty Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring high standards of customer service and coordinating daily hotel activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and supervise daily operations across hotel departments.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality customer service.
  • Handle guest queries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
  • Support and lead team members for smooth handovers and communication.
  • Comply with health, safety, and company policies.
  • Assist senior management with staff training, development, and motivation.
  • Act as Manager on Duty, taking responsibility for the property when required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in supervisory or duty management within hospitality.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing multiple tasks.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a guest-focused approach.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Current residence in Ireland and eligibility to work in the Republic of Ireland.
