We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Machinery Operator to join our team on a major healthcare project in Galway. The successful candidate will have a strong background in operating construction machinery, specifically telehandlers, with excellent knowledge of site safety protocols.
Job DescriptionThe Telehandler Operator will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating telehandler machinery on a busy construction site. Additionally, the role involves carrying out labouring duties when the telehandler is not in use, transporting materials around site, and performing daily and weekly inspections and reporting any faults or damage.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate telehandler machinery safely and efficiently on a busy construction site.
- Carry out labouring duties when the telehandler is not in use.
- Transport materials around site, ensuring clear access and tidy storage.
- Perform daily and weekly inspections and report any faults or damage.
To be considered for this role, applicants must hold a valid CSCS Plant Operator Card, Safe Pass, and Manual Handling Certificate. A minimum of 5+ years' experience operating a telehandler is required, although less experienced candidates may be considered. A 360 Excavator Ticket and Slinger/Signaller CSCS would be desirable.
