Cybersecurity Engineer - Secure Software Development

This is a critical role in our organization where you will utilize your expertise to integrate security best practices into software development lifecycle. Your primary focus will be on embedding secure-by-design and secure-by-default into supporting technologies.

As a seasoned Cybersecurity Engineer, you will work closely with development teams to identify potential threats and provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members. You will also be responsible for staying abreast of emerging security threats, including AI-specific threats.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Embed secure-by-design and secure-by-default into supporting technologies
  • Assess system architectures and suggest improvements & controls
  • Foster a positive security attitude among development teams
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members
  • Stay abreast of emerging security threats, including AI-specific threats
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in Application Security, Software Engineering or Public Cloud Platform Engineering
  • Proven ability to conduct security assessments using various methodologies
  • Experience with public cloud technologies, automation and cloud native applications
  • Deep understanding of security concepts/methods/protocols
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
