Project Manager Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our project teams in delivering projects safely, efficiently and to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships at all levels.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the complete day-to-day lifecycle of a project from initial stages through to hand-over, ensuring timely delivery, cost, quality and client satisfaction. They will also be responsible for leading all aspects of Project Team functions, including Planning, Execution, Risk & Commercial Success, Financials, Processes, HSEQS, Stakeholder Management, Project Administration, Design Management & Project Close Out.

  • Drive towards an embedded Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) culture by creating a continually progressive culture driving our number one core value for safety.
  • Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project.
  • Compile and implement the Project Execution Plan, with specific reference to the HSE & Quality plan.
  • Prepare contract reports and provide updates to monthly cost meetings.
  • Review buildability and identify methods of construction with commercial or programme advantage where possible.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Hold a degree in an Engineering discipline, such as Civil, Structural or Construction Management.
  • Have experience ideally within a main/specialist contractor.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills.
  • Show ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the construction industry and project execution.
