The role of Electrical and Mechanical Equipment Technician is crucial to the smooth operation of our data centers. As a skilled technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing complex electrical and mechanical systems, including Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPS's), Switchgear, Circuit Breakers, Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS's), Diesel Generators, Chillers, Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC), Exhaust Fans, Variable Frequency Drives (VFD's), and Transformers.
You will work semi-autonomously in the operation and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment, executing project scopes of basic complexity and providing timely escalation for all facilities-related issues within the data center. You will also collaborate with other teams to ensure remediation of safety risks/issues and foster a strong safety culture.
As an experienced technician, you will have a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical principles, as well as excellent problem-solving skills. You will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
