Job Summary:

We are seeking an Urgent Care Practitioner to join our team at MedGen Healthcare Ireland. As a critical member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing emergency nursing care to patients requiring urgent attention. Your expertise and passion for delivering high-quality care will make a real impact on our patients' lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Triage and assess patients presenting with various medical emergencies, utilizing your expertise to prioritize their needs and provide appropriate care.
  2. Collaborate with doctors, paramedics, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and delivery.
  3. Monitor and document patient progress, maintaining accurate records and facilitating informed decision-making.
  4. Deliver care in a calm and efficient manner, even in high-pressure situations, demonstrating exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Candidate Requirements:

  1. Registration by the NMBI (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland)
  2. Minimum 6 months experience in A&E (Accident and Emergency) or a similar setting
  3. Efficient documentation skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and reports
  4. Ability to deliver nursing interventions and assume patient care responsibilities, working independently and as part of a team
