
Child Clinical Psychologist Opportunity

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Child Clinical Psychologist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with children and families across Leitrim and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out comprehensive psychological assessments and develop tailored intervention plans for children aged 0-18 with a range of developmental needs.
- Deliver evidence-based therapies for children with neurodevelopmental conditions including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, intellectual disabilities, and sensory or emotional needs.
- Contribute to Individual Family Support Plans (IFSPs) and provide guidance to families.
- Offer psychoeducation, counselling, and care planning to empower caregivers.
- Take part in Multidisciplinary Team case discussions, joint sessions, and service development initiatives.
- Maintain high-quality documentation in line with professional standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Doctorate or equivalent in Clinical/Counselling/Educational Psychology and/or Chartered Clinical/Counselling/Educational Psychologist through PSI.
- Eligibility for registration with the Psychological Society of Ireland.
- Experience working with children and young people with complex needs.
- Strong skills in psychological assessment, intervention planning, and family support.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
