We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to play a leading role in our IT transformation initiative. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing, designing, and implementing improvements to IT operations and business processes, leveraging ITIL best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to conduct in-depth analysis and mapping of existing IT operations business processes.
  • Conduct gap analyses to identify opportunities for process improvement, including automation, and align the future IT operations processes with ITIL best practice.
  • Develop and design new processes, including impact analysis of proposed changes on business processes, technology, workflows, and the wider firm.
  • Analyse and define priorities within the firm and technical contexts and translate business requirements into technical specifications for new IT toolset.
  • Support the selection and implementation of new IT toolset - e.g., ITSM, Asset management, Digital Experience Monitoring (aka DEM) -, supporting users' participation in deployments and implementation activities.
  • Establish documentation standards/templates and draft comprehensive documentation for all configured processes, business requirements, process flows, and Standard Operating procedures (SOPs).

The successful candidate is a team player who will collaborate closely with various key stakeholders in the firm, demonstrating strong business/technical acumen and excellent communication skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or a related field.
  • At least 5 years' experience as a business analyst with proven experience supporting digital transformation programmes.
  • Robust understanding of ITIL principles and practices is essential in combination with some experience of core ITIL processes such as Incident and Problem Management, Change Management, Configuration Management, and Request Management.
  • Knowledge of business processes and workflows, and how to optimize them using technology solutions.
  • Relevant industry certifications: ECBA, CCBA, etc. highly desirable.
