Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to work on low-level software development within the Linux operating system kernel. As a key member of our new team, you will play a vital role in crafting exceptional software experiences. Your responsibilities will comprise design and specifications for new enhancements, coding, problem determination and bug fixing, performance analysis, submitting your code to upstream community repositories, and solving client problems.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need a strong desire to work on low-level software development within the Linux operating system kernel. You should have understanding of operating systems internals, such as memory management & task scheduling, interrupts, device drivers. Experience in source code repository systems, scripting languages, and test Automation is also required. Preferred technical and professional experience includes previous contributions to Open Source projects and skills in current I/O technologies, IBM Z architecture, and I/O concepts.
